So many people are buying homes in Florida due to low interest rates and, you can get a second home for some of the lowest prices ever.  Its a good time to buy!  Having a second home is great, for getting away to Florida for a vacation, and looking forward to having a home to retire to, but it doesn't come without some concerns.  Florida is known for hurricanes. Thankfully we haven't had to deal with any, but what happens when we do get a hurricane coming our way?  What will happen to your second home?  Do you have storm shutters?  Who will put them up?What if my home is damaged from the storm?  These are issues that will come into play, when you become a Florida home owner.  Having a neighbor or someone you know, to look in on things, is a great option,  However, over time you will feel like you are bothering them, or asking too much of them. Having a home watch service will relieve you of this stress.
